Spurs are to pay £65m for Richarlison; Xhaka exit talks


To kick off our latest transfer roundup, Tottenham Hotspur will have to pay £65million if they hope to sign Richarlison from Everton. Spurs were hoping a deal would be possible for around £50million, from The Sun on Sunday (12/6; page 68).

Bayer Leverkusen had representatives in London last week to hold talks with Arsenal over a potential transfer for Granit Xhaka. Xhaka – which was tagged ‘phenomenal‘ by Mikel Arteta – could end up in the pecking order at the Emirates if the Gunners manage to sign Youri Tielemans, Sunday people (12/6; page 57) reports.
