How to reset your Paytm password: step by step guide

Paytm is a digital payment platform that allows people to transfer money from anyone instantly to anyone at zero cost using the Paytm Wallet and Paytm BHIM UPI. It allows consumers to make hassle-free payments from cards, bank accounts, and digital payments, among others. You can use the Paytm app or website to pay online top-ups, utility bill payments, book movie tickets or travel tickets.

Here’s how to reset your Paytm password:

Step 1: You dial to call 01204888488 or 0120-4456-456 from your Paytm registered mobile number.

2nd step: Then choose your preferred language.

Step 3: Then press 1.

(The call will be disconnected and you will receive a password reset link on your registered cell phone number along with an email id attached to that Paytm account.)

Step 4: Now click on the reset password link to enter a new password and confirm your password.

To note: Please note that the password reset link expires in 10 minutes, in order to prevent misuse of your Paytm account. Therefore, try to reset your password as soon as you receive the link. Your password must consist of:

  • At least 5 characters
  • At least 1 number
  • At least 1 alphabet
